Slipware pitcher 1 by Heloïse Bariol
$ 97.52
Description SLIPWARE PITCHER BY HELOÏSE BARIOL It is in her Norman workshop that Heloise Bariol creates her plates, pitchers, bowls and other dishes. She uses the glazed earth that she turns, models or hollows. She then puts a slip on her creations which she decorats with metallic oxide juices. At the end of the process, Héloïse places the parts intended for cooking in an electric oven heated to 1080 °. For this slipware pitcher, the artist has turned a piece of earth. Each piece she makes is unique. A plate becomes a painting, a pitcher a sculpture: the everyday object becomes an art object. Origin: France Material: glazed earthenware Method of production: turned and enamelled earth. Piece made entirely by hand WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST YOU MAY ALSO LIKE OR WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE GALLERY
