Caliber & Technology The automatic manufacture movement sets the pace Caliber JLC 896 before. With a frequency of 28,800 A/h the construct provides a Power reserve of 43 hours. The excellent finish is revealed through the exhibition back: flawless Côtes de Genève on the solid rotor, a precise perlage on the plate and elaborately polished chamfers on the bridges. This movement finishing and stringent regulation ensure a high-precision chronometer rate with outstanding amplitude. Case & Material The production of the 40 mm measuring housing made of solid Stainless steel requires maximum machining precision to achieve the extremely flat height of just 8.6 mm to realize. Mirror-polished flanks emphasize the architectural clarity of the design. Under the protective, scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal the sensitive mechanics remain safe, while the housing can withstand water pressure of up to 5 ATM resistant. This underlines the reliability of this ultra-fine measuring instrument. Aesthetics & Readability The silver-colored dial uses a fine sunburst finish for subtle light reflections. Applied, rhodium-plated wedge indices and precisely faceted dauphine hands dominate the austere face of the watch. The off-centre small seconds at six o'clock lends the display a classic rhythm. Any luminous material is strictly dispensed with in order to preserve the pure dress watch orientation.
