Data East Buzz Buster # DBB001

Description Many Data East machines can have an annoying buzzing and humming sound in the background coming out of the speakers. While there are several sources of the background buzz, the most common cause seems to be noise on the 12V power line feeding the soundboard. The DBB001 Data East Buzz Buster helps resolve this by adding an inline 12V switching power supply to provide a smooth 12V specifically for the soundboard. The DBB001 Buzz Buster doesn’t address the other sources of noise so it doesn’t help in all cases. However, it is effective in reducing background noise for the majority of games and makes the games more enjoyable!
