15 Yard Brodart Just-a-Fold III Rolls 3 Pack Combo 9″ – 10″ – 12″ Archival Book Covers

I used it to cover the dust cover on a rather large book.The kit comes in 3 sizes of roll, and each size is itself configurable. The width of the roll corresponds to the height of the book.The instructions are clear and I covered my dust cover with no problem.Looks like a pro library book now!But just in case you find them helpful, I will add my own tips:1) Take the dust cover off the book and lay it out flat on a flat table.2) Choose the Brodart roll that is at least as wide as your dust cover is tall.3) Unroll enough of the Brodart roll so that it’s slightly longer (about 1/2 inch) than the length of the unfolded dust cover, and cut off this length.4) There is white paper attached to the protector material, DO NOT REMOVE THIS. It’s not backing paper, it’s part of the protector.5) The white paper inside the Brodart protector material has little perforated lines along its bottom edge, in parallel rows, to help you fold the protector to just the right height that matches your dust cover. There’s also extra plastic so you can fold it over to this custom height.6) Dust cover goes between the clear plastic and the white paper. Dust cover’s top goes up to where the plastic and paper of the protector join. Printed part of the dust cover faces outward through the plastic. Paper side of the protector goes on the inside of the dust cover. Scootch the dust cover’s top edge right up to the top crease in the protector.7) Fold up the bottom of the protector’s paper, using the perforated lines in the paper as a guide, towards the inside top of the dust cover, as close as possible to the bottom of the dust cover. Once the paper is folded up, repeat this step with the plastic, taking its crease as close as possible to the bottom of the dust cover without hitting it.8) The plastic protector material creases easily, so go slowly and carefully so you don’t make false starts and wind up with extra creases in it.There’s plenty of material on the rolls so you should be able to protect a lot (dozens) of books with this kit, especially if they are different sizes so you use all of the rolls.
