Dimmable Reading Light Plug in Wall Mounted Bedside Headboard Reading Light Task Directional Gooseneck LED Light 3W Output (Black, 120V Plug in, Warm White)

It was a little pricey but this lamp with the gooseneck was perfect to mount on the couch over my shoulder as a reading lamp. It has a nice temperature, meaning it’s not too blue white … i’d guess it’s about 5000 on the temp scale. The really nice feature is the dimmer that is built in and easy to use just by holding contact on the switch. So I had this lamp in place and working fine for about 6 months. Then the weather changed to winter outside, the air got drier … and I came home one day and took off my Columbia soft shell polyester jacket … walked across the carpet and accidentally touched the lamp. I felt the spark shoot out of my finger from the static electricity built up on my body … and just like that … the lamp was dead … kaputski.
