Smooth and soft fabric, perfect thickness for airplane travel. I traveled in this outfit twice and was quite comfortable in it. My only complaint is the waist elastic is wide and hold the pants up well, but for travel, I’d want the waist band to be a little looser to be more comfortable. It comes with a waist elastic tie also, but I’m not sure the stretchy tie does much since the wide elastic band does all the work of holding the pants up. I’m 5’1″ tall so the pants almost touch the ground, and I don’t have to hem them. I’m 130 lbs so size Small outfit was a good fit. The side slits on the shirt is a good feature, because you can put your hands in the pants pockets without lifting the shirt. The short sleeves are good so you don’t get too hot, and it doesn’t look too bulky under a light sweater on a plane. Washes and dries well. I recommend this outfit and would buy again in another color.
