Q9008471 Dial architecture & case The Reference Q9008471 reinterprets the historic Memovox Polaris from 1968, but dispenses with the alarm function in favor of a flatter design. The most striking feature is the elaborate dial, which is finished in three concentric circles. Sunburst finish in the center, a Grainé structure (grained) on the hour ring and a Opalin finish on the internal, rotatable bezel (rehaut). This is controlled via the crown at 2 o'clock, while the crown at 4 o'clock is used to set the time. The indexes and numerals are covered with Super-LumiNova in a subtle „vanilla“ shade that combines historical charm with modern legibility. Caliber & manufacture details Visible through the sapphire crystal back, the Manufacture caliber 898E/1. This automatic movement consists of 195 individual parts and offers a power reserve of 40 hours at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
