FYI this basket will fit into the bayou classic 40 qt pot with the spigot at the bottom (but not a thermometer) We’ll it MAY fit in the pot with the thermometer but I don’t have that so I cant say for sure. Anyway it rests right on the spigot with the threaded union installed with about a quarter inch to spare. If you put the false bottom into the pot first this basket sticks out the top by about a half inch.Also the size selector on amazon is incorrect (shows something like 12×12 inches) but the correct item is delivered.
