Usually thought of as purple, with varying shades looking a bit more red or blue, you can also find this type of quartz in other colors, like green. Some stones may be heat treated to enhance their colors, which is a permanent treatment. These are lab grown gemstones using heat and pressure to recreate the same condition like how natural gemstones mined from underground grown over millions of years. They have very similar look to natural gemstones but have been treated to remove the inclusions inside the stone.
