It takes its name from the citron fruit because of these lemon-inspired shades. Citrine has been a popular gemstone since ancient times. These are lab grown gemstones using heat and pressure to recreate the same condition like how natural gemstones mined from underground grown over millions of years. They have very similar look to natural gemstones but have been treated to remove the inclusions inside the stone.
